Can I Mix Creatine And Superpump

Viva Italy

Yes, long live Italy and who helped to make united ! Viva who overcame, though pursuing different ideals, the dream of a united people from the Alps to Sicily, who live, mature and young, immolated for the unit.

sound strange today as these words of patriotism, and perhaps the ears of anyone will be too sickly. But de profundis , I do not care.

Here I am here to celebrate in my own way the unification of Italy, bringing together in a post (which I'll update all the time though) songs, poems, experiences, pictures, diaries, letters ... as I suggest the words UNITA 'D'ITALY .. . In short, a post to the crossing of my (perhaps your) imagination.

And you can not start with ' song ... written by a young Goffredo Mameli, in the days of the first war of independence text made read one night at Michele Novaro that in three hours, Pina, and became the music ... and then be sung by our liberal during the 5 days of Milan .
Much has been said and streets of the hymn, sometimes in a negative way (his rhetoric, his pace march ...), but this is obviously a lack of ability of contextualization: what would have chosen these detractors to encourage and push the revolt? What to resurrect the "old virtues" of a people that only then he felt the son of the same w / Father? 's great the national anthem, as big as some other songs of the Renaissance, but imbued with a positive message of confidence in the story, an emotional and other non-violent struggle songs and hymns, including European to have.
'nuff said.
Here the text explanation
and video:

Other song of the Risorgimento, deservedly famous is The tricolor flag.

Composed by an anonymous author, is the quarantottesco song par excellence, and manifest portrait of a revolutionary generation he saw his hopes drown in the blood. Sung throughout the Risorgimento, the song and then entered in the permanent repertoire of the Alpine songs

Video

Here then the 'Hymn to Garibaldi famous patriotic song of the Italian Risorgimento.
Author of the text was, at the request of Garibaldi himself, the poet Louis Mercantini, also known for bass Sapri, poignant evocation of romantic shipment of Carlo Pisacane. Performed for the first time in 1858 , so close to what will be the "liberation of the south"

E could not miss the Nabucco, the chorus of Va 'pensiero who sings the heartbreaking sacrifice of the Jewish slaves in Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar: in 1800 in many comparisons Italians slaves to the Jews fleeing Egypt and slaves in Babylon. The chorus of Verdi speaks for itself: in the participation numerous singing, as in melancholic and evocative, the music is simple but intense secrecy of this choir, from the evidence already in the theater, was sung by tailors and set off the stage ....

For those interested, here is the text of Psalm (136) 137 that Verdi was inspired and poetry of twentieth-century poet Quasimodo , who was inspired to turn to Nabucco, to describe the situation in World War II delll'Italia In ... an excursus centuries ...

So gentle and so many Cape in the aura around - Tutorial IIA

No, I did not drink ...

continues its journey through time and feelings through the love poetry of the fourteenth century, in a bell'archeologia hearts, to know that what others tried and also what you feel today. ..

to take the field the two love sonnets to women:

So gentle and so honest it seems
my lady when she greets others, that every language

She goes, praise, feeling, clothed with humility
benignly;
and seems to be something coming

Mostrasi so attractive to those who aim, through the eyes
which gives a sweetness to the core,

There are many points of contact between the two poets, as well as the differences ...
How about you?

Try to see:

  • physical description (which describes data and data that are not discussed: Why is this?)
  • DESCRIPTION "INTERIOR" ( character, spirit, spirituality ...)
  • EFFECTS OF LOVE
  • BEAUTY (and age) of women

I give you .... any suggestions, of course my way ;-)
(note to 1 ': 18''... and to refrain from this step)

Why do you think this ad?

... and even a song by Roberta Flack , Beauty (click here to text: read the text can help you think about the words)

As You I said in class, the sonnet of Petrarch makes me so much reminded of the beautiful verses of Montale (Nobel Prize literature in 1975): a poem full of love, tenderness, nostalgia, dedicated to his wife, became blind with old age and died before the poet ... I give it with great emotion, being one of the texts to me most dear:

Eugenio Montale - "I fell, giving the arm

I fell, giving the arm, at least one million stairs
And now that you're not there is a vacuum at each step. Even so it was short
our long journey. My

Coincidences, reservations,
traps
the scorn of those who believe that reality is what seen.

I dropped millions of stairs giving the arm-face with
Not that maybe you see more.
With you I've got because I knew both of us
The only real eyes, though so blurred,
were yours.

Why all these materials? What are the links between these videos and poems and songs?

Discuss freely in the comments, your ideas on both the initial two sonnets (similarities and differences) and is about what materials they will raise or make you think.

Good job!

Streets for fantasy: Exercises in Style: part two (or etciù)-IIA

Here comes other exercises in style, imagery and target acquisition of the purpose of understanding the use of a language so also evocative prose.

The imagery allows to approach the poetry to prose, the author is helping to externalize his feelings, giving it a shape that best fit their feel, is the reader to be involved in the imagination of others, nurturing one's own. The imagery is closing our eyes, is the image behind the eye a stream of images, it is an upset stomach or a slight chill on the skin: is the synergy between author and reader, and activities, is emotions, participation .

always, when I read a poem, introduces little or nothing, so I read it, mimicking his face, body and voice with the intonation of the denotative meanings, to help children to have a superficial understanding, and finally ask them to close their eyes and I read (with music) ... reopened his eyes, wondering what they have "heard" and "imagined" in ... a blaze of, "I am I! Me!" and senses ... And on the basis of their images, go to the hunting of the "trick" (the imagery) that the author has used to inspire those images and those feelings ...
experience, I must say, "strong" for me and for them ...

To get them to engage in a creative way so the imagery, to help bring out their feelings, as well as their imagination (or madness sound ;-)) ... we had fun do descriptions of places and people using only a specific figure of speech ...

Introducing the style exercises in prose : I read some good (or not?):

  • Descriptions carried out only with similarities ( Cecilia Bernardini)

The Drunk Elf
E 'tall as a bottle cap and is worn like a chubby ball of wool. He has no eyes shining like a mirror and a red nose just like a tomato polished, because it is always drunk as a drunk that will not stop drinking. When he walks, goes to and fro like a ship in rough seas, do not ever look forward to being where he puts his feet. It has two cheeks hot as fire on and just as aggressive as it is a piece of bread.

Giant Bored

as two shutters has tired eyes that slowly close. Walk around as slow as a snail. He is always hungry, and fat like a balloon. It moves and goes up and down like a gazelle velocente. Sings like a sparrow. Every now and then through some magazines.

The Sleepy Zombie

walked like an old man among the various rooms. The eyes of blacks as pitch, is closed to the beat of the hands. The body was paralyzed. He wore a long white coat like the milk just as no one ever paid and yawned. His hands were like two flies hanging vines. And the legs, moving the necessary, were dry like two toothpicks.

  • Description Perform only metaphor (to be added)

  • Descriptions performed only with personifications (store)

Cbs Fantasy Basketball

fantasy: Exercises in Style: take, first! -IIA

Arringovisitatori, I'm not dead! ;-) (I would have given the good news boys)
I'm back here to update you (as a bit 'I do not do) on the work of Arringoboys!

Resume then a little 'speech with the IIA: we are facing and reinforcing writing connotative, ie one that uses certain rhetorical devices so expressive. Thing that so, it would be maybe a hammer sull'alluce ...:-)

rhetoric and its figures, in fact, are much more present to what we believe in everyday life and be able to explain in shape can be not only useful but also very funny! The evocative power of the figures is remarkable: you want to put "snow" with "slowly crumbles heaven" ? you want to put "the rustle of leaves" with "mumbled the old tunes forest" ? There seems to be there to really feel that green or whisper to see the slow dance of the snowflakes?
so I told the guys that make use of figures increases the involvement of the reader, it makes him and encouraged him to active reading : if they want that their text comes out from the page and take life behind the eyes and mind of the reader ... have to pull out your suitcase and take the right tools! :-)

What can he do? A simile? A metaphor? A synesthesia? A personification? And why? What do you mean with that figure? What do you suggest? What experience?

These are important questions that kids should do when you approach to writing expression.
If is to stimulate the imagination of the reader ... you must be careful in the choice of instrument and to avoid overloading.

We started with a poem by A Negri, a day that was really snowed:

DANCE SNOW
the fields or roads,
quiet and mild,
wheeling, snow
falls.
Dance flap white
it the wide sky playful,
then rests on the ground,
tired .
motionless in a thousand forms,
rooftops and chimneys,
on stones and gardens,
sleeping.
All of it is about peace
closed in deep oblivion,
indifferent world
silent.

And after you have read, commented and analyzed the tools used by the poet, taking advantage of the white landscape that we had around, here's what they wrote some of them, standing on the ledge, or imagining ... Stand out:

The first flakes of snow

fall
and in a moment the bare trees with a white coat s

are covered

Children run in the street

there is happiness

the Snowmen style garden

decorate
Snow is the magic of
Snow is the joy of a child
The rest of the winter snow is
Snow is silent .... .
Constance Testa

I saw the sky
white flakes falling on my face,
white flakes, soft .....
I locked up a statue in a glass bubble,
no one heard me,
no longer existed,
just me and the snow ...
Cecilia Bernardini

And why stop at the snow, reuse of others' styles ? Starting with photos of children or those taken from the internet ... ... the boys are indulged with poems by the four seasons!
Carry two years of style Flavia Mercado :

The Sun

Thou sun, which falls between
The Hiding
waves. You

sun, you make the sky a rainbow

in many colors.

The reflection on the water looks the way

What should I do to get to you,

The sea has become
A table,
where the waves seem to stay

between the arms of
sand. ;

Autumn

trees welcome you to gusts,
even greet the summer.

joke with the autumn leaves,
although silence is around.

The avenue goes to infinity,
although I get the impression of a finger.

And again Cecilia Bernardini, with his "Autumn is upon us"

The sky ride,
although 'round about everything is turned off,
the bare trees,
spoil the immense avenue,
though all lonely.

hovering in the air,
the first leaves fall slowly ....
painting the landscape.

A colorful carpet, painted
autumn color,
ignites gold scarlet
sunlight.

Wind jokes
with the icy blue waters ....

All lights in colors ...

All is empty ....

Autumn is upon us .........

Again
You, Earth
You, Earth

're like a
solitary bird
flying in the sky.
Your boat
isolated in your
hands as a
child looking
of their parents.
Your mountain
is like
a boy in love.
Your trees
are like two
people
is so fond of.
Your water
thirsts for you
and your stones
need the
your company.

(Ilaria Tolomei)

And finally ... a good group of descriptive alliteration! (Oh my God, it seems that the poetic version dell'Alligalli ;-))

In large planetary

the bright moon,
lantern in the world,
illuminates the long fields of lemon trees.
clear light around her.

Elisa, Cecilia, Ilaria and Flavia

And why stop at poetry? Why not use these techniques even in the prose writing?

But that's another post ...!
:-)

Best Female Tan Lines

you like to investigate? - IIIA

My students know very well that this is a rhetorical question and now I am so used to nod already "There goes" , well aware that the will of sicuuuuuuuuuuuuro ;-)

tell you a little ' better.

The boys had read during the holidays, different readings on the unresolved conflicts in much of the world : some always in the spotlight (Middle East), others sadly and shamefully forgotten.
We talked a lot in class, as has become our habit, comparing, arguing, discussing hard sometimes ...

And how do you want me then, to see all this interest, the same quiet?!
is there that takes the famous rhetorical question:
"Would you like to investigate?".

And I must say that, at least from the outside, the faces were happy and bright eyes :-)

They divided into groups according to the interest stimulated by reading rather than another ...

And so here is some of these works ...

What can I say? Bravo Bravo Bravo!
Long live curiosity and desire to learn and share!
